Jedynym minusem jest to, że w piosenkach język angielski jest specyficzny, skrótowy, slangowy. Często wręcz wymyśla się jakieś słowa aby pasowały do rymu czy długości wiersza. Czasami wręcz są tam błędy językowe czy gramatyczne. Błędy takie obśmiewa ’Weird A’l Yankovic, który od lat 80. parodiuje największe przeboje. Tym razem dostało się Robin Thicke i piosence „Blurred Lines”. Al w swojej wersji piosenki zatytułowanej „Word Crimes” pije do poziomu piosenki Robina i zwraca uwagę jak poprawnie mówić po angielsku.
